Skylar Burke / Aces – Skylar works hard at every practice. She is a great team player and is always smiling. Skylar had a great first game, with some great hits. Keep up the good work Skylar!

Brooklyn Romero / Vegas Heat – Brooklyn is back!  She came up with two key hits and a walk. She played great defense at first base by helping her team get outs on great throws, and she turned a double play by herself after catching a pop fly at second base! Beyond her great play, she is a positive role model for the rest of her team. Keep working hard Brooklyn!

Addison Baxter / Riptide – Addison was 1 for 1 this week with a double, walk, 1 RBI, and 1 run scored. She played well in the field. She started in the outfield and played 3rd base.  Addison worked hard during the off-season, and that hard work paid off in our first game. She is a great teammate. Keep working hard!

Monae Lafayette / Lady Panthers – In a pitching duel, Monae led her team to a 1-0 victory by posting a 5 inning, no-hit shutout. She allowed only two base runners via walk and recorded 8 strikeouts. At the plate, Monae went 1 for 2 with a base hit.  Her can-do attitude and laser focus in the circle was the key to a tough win. Leading Lady Panther to a great start! Great work Mo!

Ariana Ceballos / Lunachicks – Ariana did an amazing job in LF.  She also played an inning at the catcher position, which she has never played before and was a wall behind the plate.  She has a positive attitude and unwillingness to give up is invaluable to the Lunachicks. Great job Ariana!

Mariah Schuck / Oddballs – Mariah first came on the Oddballs with an extremely shy demeanor and very hesitant to do anything in fear she would do it incorrectly, which in turn suppressed her hidden abilities as a softball player. This week against the Devildogs, she hit a single, walked and scored a run. She did it all with a smile and gave 100%!  Great Job!

Skyler Bailey / DreamcrushersShe had an amazing weekend from the circle. Pitching in astonishing 11 innings over two games striking out 15 walking ZERO and only giving up five earned runs. She also helped her team with two key hits, stole two bases and scored three runs. Great Job Skyler!
