Sienna Lutke / Big Thunder – Sienna is a real go getter! She made multiple plays during our first game and had three great hits during the second game.  Great job Sienna! Keep up the good work!

Erin Barber / FilliesErin had a great week for her team.  She pitched 2 innings striking out 3 batters with no walks allowed.  In the field she made some nice plays including catching a fly ball.  She really shined at the plate.  Erin had a bases loaded walk to bring in a run and then later in the game crushed a 3-run home run to right field. Keep working hard Erin!

Ava Ward / Dirt Diamonds – Ava had such a spectacular softball week. She is one tough cookie! At the plate she fouled a ball off her foot, behind the plate at catcher she took a bat to her leg, a foul ball to the shoulder, and she made the play of the game at home saving a potential homerun by catching and tagging out a girl that was trying to score. She then proceeded to hit a single in the last inning and managed to steal the bases all the way home to give her team the victory 8-7.

Annalise Stout / Fighting Squirrels – Anna “Beast” stepped up big and helped her team to the W. She can always be counted on to make a great plays at second base and today was no exception. When the team needed her to pitch, she stepped in and racked up six strikeouts. At the plate in the leadoff position, she did her job well and got on bag repeatedly. With a smile that just will not quit, Stouty is a force to be reckoned with!

Anjuli Stamper-Kong / LV Toros – As both teams battled to take the lead and the Devil Dogs hitters not slowing down it was a double play by Anjuli that turned the momentum in the Toros favor. Anjuli went 1-2 with a base hit and a walk. She played extremely well!  Keep working hard!

Emily Makis / Demodogs – Emily is a coach’s dream as she consistently comes to practice with a great  attitude, she works hard, and is willing to take on new roles to better herself and her team. Due to the strength of her arm, we asked Emily to move to catcher this week and she performed amazingly.  She had no passed balls and left opposing coaches unwilling to steal. She went 2 for 2. More importantly, she is a leader on the field. Congratulations Emily!

Bella Robinson / VenomBella had an amazing day at the plate. She went 3 for 3 with 3 RBI’s. Every time she came to the plate, there were two outs. Each time she started the rally with nobody on and ended up scoring the only runs in those innings. Bella drove in the tying run at her last at bat and ended up scoring the run to put her team ahead 5-4. Way to go Bella!!
