Serena Sakay – Cyclones
Serena has been working hard all season learning the game.  She knows all the positions on the field, taking her spot without any assistance.  At the plate she has laser focus watching the ball, swings hard every time and enjoys racing (and beating sometimes) our 14U players that assist and mentor at practice.  Way to go Serena!

Gia Christmas – Sweet Heat

Gia has been a solid player for Sweet Heat this season. She has been asked to play more unfamiliar positions this year than she has been asked to play in the past. When asked to play the new positions like catcher or first base, she jumps at the opportunity and plays it like she’s been doing it for years. Not only versatile in field, but also brings the power to plate! This past week, she kept her team in the game by sending a monster shot past the outfielders for her first HR of the season! She’s had a great start to the season, but she also had an outstanding week. Keep it going G!

Malaya Tellis – Desert Fury

Malaya showed up big this weekend she went 2 for 2 with a double and a triple with 3 RBI’s. Her speed and great base running helped get her to those bases. She shows up to all team practices and cages, she is a great teammate in the dugout. She needed a confidence booster and I know this was it she can do anything she sets her mind to. Great job WHEELS let’s keep it going!

Lacy Mayes – Bombers

Lacy Mayes is everything you want in a young softball player. She comes to every practice ready to play and gives maximum effort. She can play every position on the field including pitcher and catcher. In three games this week she played third base, catcher and pitcher. She pitched 4 innings this week striking out 11 batters and giving up 0 runs. In one game she blasted a monster shot to right field for a stand up triple. On Saturday she put awareness on display by hustling on the bases to score on the same play she was walked. Lacy is a baller!!  Go Bombers!!

JoJo Coreas – Honeybadgers

This Honeybadger had a great week! She was perfect in the field making no errors at first base. At the plate she reached base in every at bat expect for one.  Including a nice inside the park home run.  JoJo Coreas showed outstanding hustle and great spirit.  Way to go JoJo!!!

Ky’anna Parker – Base Invaders

Our player of the week is Ky’anna Parker. She was amazing at the plate with two triples, one to the opposite field. In the field she made some great plays including coming in to play catcher. She comes out and plays hard every day.

Sage Shoning – Crusaders
Sage had an amazing week of softball! She went 5-7 including 2 extra base hits with 5 runs scored this week leading her team to 2 wins and a tie. Along with her great numbers at the plate she had become a great center fielder by making a number plays for us this season.
Sage is a quiet leader on the team but her performance on the field speaks volumes! Keep up the great work Sage !
