Holland Gladchuk – Vegas Heat
Holland is a special kind of softball player. She always comes ready to play and ready to have fun. Whether is it catching a pop fly, scooping up a grounder and getting the out at first, having patient at bats, pitching when her team needs it or coming up with a big hit: Holland is ready to do it all. This week she helped her team defeat an incredible opponent, by pitching and coming up with two big hits when her team needed her most! But exceedingly more important than all she does on the field, she is kind and generous with her teammates. Always there with a smile and encouragement to anyone who needs it. Way to go Holland!

Brenlie Phelps – Dirt Diamonds
Brenlie is the leader and captain of her team, and she always brings her A-game to the softball fields. She had a great week on the mound and at the plate in 2 games this week. On the mound she racked up 8 strike outs, caught a few pop fly’s, and threw a couple girls out at first. At the plate she has made herself a force to be reckoned with driving in 2 singles and 2 RBIs. Brenlie is always there to support her teammates and help them succeed. She is a fantastic softball player and an even better friend to her teammates. Keep up the hard work Brenlie, it doesn’t go unnoticed!

Alex Winkleman –Fighting Squirrels
Alex has been an integral part of the Nuthouse for a long time. She is a consistent bunter and never questions giving up her batting average to move her runners or rack up another RBI. She puts in a lot of time at shortstop and consistently makes great plays. In the outfield, she can track a ball with the best of them. When the needs of the team changed this week, Alex didn’t even hesitate to step into a position she wasn’t as familiar with and put in 100% at 2nd base. This week with 2 singles, 2 RBIs, and a putout, she proved herself once again. With her quick smile and willingness to put in the work, Alex is now, and will forever be, A Fighting Squirrel! Thanks 44!

Mariah Schuck – Crusaders
Mariah has an awesome week of softball this week! She had great battle at the plate on Tuesday night by keeping her at bat alive by hustling out a strike out in the dirt. The play allowed 2 runs to score including the go ahead winner in the last inning!
On Saturday she kept her team close with a solid line drive base hit to score 2 runs and had another RBI at her next at bat.
Defensively she made a great catch in right field and doubled up a runner who was off the bag. Keep up the great work Mariah!

Sabrina Hernandez – Juiced
Sabrina, hitting in the all important number two spot in the batting order, got on base on every one of her at bats this week; she had six hard hit base hits (including three doubles) on seven at bats. Sabrina got on base once as a result of an error. Sabrina also played flawless defense at both first and second base. Sabrina has been rock solid all season, her hits have been big contributions to the team’s high scoring offense and her defense is anchoring a good defensive infield.
