Caylee Gullen –Fuego
Caylee is little but mighty! She is always hustling and always listening. She improves every single practice and game and this week started hitting line drives up the middle! She is always one of the first ones to answer a coach’s question and is always willing to help pick up equipment and put it away! She is frequently seen motivating her teammates to do the right thing and cheering her teammates on. Her little smile is contagious and we are lucky to have her on our team! Keep up the great work Caylee!

Paige Nash –Dirt Diamonds
Paige had another incredible week on the diamond. Her pitching is fierce and when she settles into her zone she is very hard to hit. With 3 games this week she pitched 5 complete innings and she totaled 15 strike outs and 4 walks giving up no hits. At the plate, she helped get her team started driving in 2 RBIs in the first game, and a single and a walk in the second game of a doubleheader Saturday. Paige is a great teammate always leading cheers and chants, and first girl to give a high five to her teammates coming into the dugout. Keep up the great work number 16!

Charlie Simi – LV Spirit
Charlie Simi and the LV Spirit were on fire this week! Behind the plate and at shortstop, Charlie helped her team go 3-0 while scoring 30 runs for and only allowing 2. At the plate she was just as impressive going 6 for 7 with a triple and a HR. Charlie works hard both on and of the field and her fun loving attitude make her a pleasure to coach.

Mya Crocker –Bombers
Mya has had a great week this week reaching base safely in every at bat. Over the past three games in the lead off spot she has scored 6 runs, hit 3 singles and walked three times. In the field she took on the challenge of playing first base and did it with perfection making several plays to secure two wins for her team on Saturday. Keep up the great work.

Bailey Hollis –Crusaders
Bailey had a great week of Softball! She went 2-3, 2 walks, 2 stolen bases and 3 runs scored this week to help lead her team to 2 victories. In addition to her offense, Bailey also contributed 4 solid innings of work in the circle. Her effort on the mound paid off by keeping her team in both games this week.
Before the game on Saturday while everyone else was probably sleeping, she ran a 2 mile cross country race for her school team and did well! Bailey’s work ethic and being a great teammate has been a tremendous asset to her team. Keep up the great work Bailey!

Samantha Schlaf had a great week both offensively and defensively! Samantha was 4 for 5, including 2 doubles and a home run, while driving in 6 runs. Defensively, Samantha protected the hot corner with 4 put outs, including a put out on a text book bunt down the 3rd baseline.
